IS IBB WORTH CELEBRATING?
What is the pride in Gen Ibrahim Babangida for selling the country to his family and boys in a country that majority of people can't afford good health care, affordable housing, food, power supply, unemployment and hardship overwhelming.
I saw online a video of Arthur Eze when he gifted Babangida N500M for launching his book. He said Babangida brought them up and made them with stolen public money.
Arthur Eze doesn’t care if majority of Nigerians starve to death provided Babangida's family and boys are super rich. How will this country develop when people are proud to celebrate their stolen wealth in public?
It was a gathering of thieves. Is Babangida worth celebrating? The answer is NO. Babangida destroyed the country when he annulled the election that was overwhelmingly won By MKO Abiola.
Babangida is referred to as evil genius and I guess he cherishes the tag. Under his administration, we heard of parcel bomb that killed Dele Giwa.
Babangida and Abacha were evil military rulers. Under Babangida's military administration, hard drugs and 419 were at the highest in Nigeria.
He devalued the Nigerian naira and till today the naira has not come out of the oddity.
He took the capital city of Delta state to Asaba, an interstate boundary community, to please his Asaba in-laws. Today more Easterners across the Onitsha Bridge claim ownership of Asaba than Deltans.
