REMI TINUBU: WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER OVERBEARING 1ST LADY

On 7th December, 2025 at Osun state Senator Mrs Oluremi Tinubu told Gov Ademola Adeleke to stop singing or she will cut his microphone. 

 

What audacity does the wife of President Tinubu have to ask a sitting governor in his own state to stop singing in a social event. 

 

President Tinubu has turned Nigeria into military administration of Abacha where freedom of speech is no longer guaranteed. 

 

If an elected governor can be ordered by wife of President that is not elected to stop his song or speech it means Nigeria is doomed. All draconian laws are in place to suppress the voice of critics and opposition. 

 

The office set up by the Nigerian police called NPF National Cyber Crime Centre headed by CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry is to clamp down on critics with fabricated offences of cyberstalking, cyber defamation, cyber bullying, breach of peace. 

 

The impunity by the administration of APC under Tinubu is exactly like military regimes of Abacha and Babangida. 

 

Critics are no longer free to criticise politicians in power for fear of being arrested by CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry of Nigerian Police Force National Cybercrime Center Abuja. 

 

CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry and his footsoldiers are all over the place looking for critics who will fall into their traps.

Remi Tinubu was not elected so what audacity does she have to warn a sitting governor to stop talking in a social event in his own state? 

 

What evidence do we need again that Tinubu's APC led administration is undemocratic? CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry and his men at NPF National Cybercrime Centre are always available to cow any critic of politicians in power for cyber stalking,cyber intimidation, cyber defamation,breach of peace.

 

The luck Gov Ademola Adeleke has is that he has immunity as a sitting governor otherwise he would have been arrested and charged for cyberstalking ,cyber bullying, cyber intimidation, cyber defamation, breach of peace.

 

Remi Tinubu should call self to order and respect democracy. As for President Tinubu, he should focus on fighting insecurity and stop his police from arresting innocent people for civil matters and concentrate on joining the military and DSS to fight insecurity and stop dabbling into civil matters with fabricated offences of cyberstalking, cyber bullying, cyber intimidation, cyber defamation and breach of peace. 

 

It is the politicians in power and their wives, aides and police that are breaching the peace.
