TO THOSE OFFERING SUPPOSED "UNSOLICITED ADVISE" IN DEFENCE OF IBORI, AMORI & EDEVBIE - YOU CAN'T STOP DELTANS FOR CONDEMNING THE FINANCIAL ATROCITIES COMMITTED BY THESE POLITICIANS

It is only self-centered and greedy persons, whose only objective in life is how to feed their bellies and increase the size of their private accounts, that would turn a blind eye to the financial atrocities committed by James Ibori and his squad - Ighoyota Amori and David Edevbie.

It is only self-centered and greedy persons, whose only objective in life is how to feed their bellies and increase the size of their private accounts, that would turn a blind eye to the financial atrocities committed by James Ibori and his squad - Ighoyota Amori and David Edevbie. Such persons remain as part of the major problems we have towards the developmental progress of Delta State because they would see black, which is clear to everyone, but still call it white. And then they would try to convince others to see things from their skewed perspective.
That is how best I can describe a recent post online by nameless person(s) with the title: "Unsolicited But Necessarily Advice To Chief Kenneth Gbagi & His Handlers," broadcasted via The Nigerian Eagle News WhatsApp platform with the Mobile number 08033529771 (with True Caller ID: Duncan Eghweree).
In which the writer(s) suggested that Chief Gbagi should go close to Ibori, Amori and Edevbie "to learn so much from their political resilience..." This is like asking someone to learn how to steal and play dirty politics from persons whose past records and reputation are nothing to write home about. Rather, I think those three are the ones that should go close to Gbagi to learn one or two things about living a straightforward life, and about successfully running private businesses legitimately. Instead of their lifestyle of feeding fat on Delta State Government.
It remains an established fact that Amori, Ibori and Edevbie are known grand 'public thieves' whose past and present records in Delta State Government is Fraudulent-ridden. Ibori's image alone is not only dented and stained with fraud and thievery in the country, but also across the globe.
The question is, was any person responsible for the bad and dented image of Ibori? Ibori himself, is the one responsible for his currently badly-stained image. And it is not something that any sane person should want to associate, and have anything to do with. Ibori is the one who got himself convicted by a British Crown Court for mindlessly looting and exporting Delta State monies for his selfish purposes. These are monies meant to develop the State. The worst part is that Ibori has not shown any iota of remorse or Repentance over what he has done against the State and its people. Yet, someone is here trying to convince Deltans to start seeing Ibori and his cabal in a different good light. How is that possible?
Ibori couldn’t have stolen all of those monies from the Delta State treasury without the cooperation and collaboration of Edevbie, Amori and Others who were part of his administration between 1999 to 2007.
I think the writer(s) of the said piece should be advising Ibori, Amori and Edevbie to learn how to keep quiet, and face the music of what they have brought on themselves, while they still enjoy their loots. Rather than blaming others for their frustration and dilemma, which they deliberately caused by themselves as Delta State grand public thieves. These people have nothing good to offer to Delta State, other than their specialized thievery. They are 'destroyers of destinies'. And wherever they go, they leave traces of their destruction. Here is a comment made by Solomon Oduaran on Amori, and I quote: "Could you believe that it's the same Amori who destroyed UPU, that is still going round again to perpetuate the same evils, and our kings and leaders still see him as our messiah. What a shame, for an Edo state man to come destroy our state."
The writer(s) of the said post should not waste his time in trying to make Deltans think otherwise because Ibori and his loyalists, who are nothing but wicked politicians without conscience, have already established a bad image upon themselves on a global scale.
I am one of those well-meaning Deltan who is just simply tired and fed up with the likes of Ibori and his cabal, that have held this State to ransome for years. That narrative has to change because with all the wealth and resources that Delta State has, we are not supposed to be where we are today as a State and people. No thanks to Ibori and his cabal, Delta State is amongst the grossly underdeveloped States across the Federation. And some stupid and unreasonable writer is here trying to make Deltans keep quiet and pretend that all is well, with these public grand thieves still trying to find their way into Government House to continue their thievery. God forbid!
I remain one who writes from his heart and mind on issues that are wrong and abnormal in our State and country. And I do not belong to any political party, neither am I affiliated to any political party. I am also not looking for appointments and favour from any politician or government. My bone of contention is to simply see things done right in our society.
