TINUBU'S HARDSHIP: WORLD BANK IS AN ACCOMPLICE
The World Bank Group Chief Economist & Senior Vice President, Indermit Gill has said at 30th Nigerian Economic Summit organised by Nigerian Economic Summit Group and Federal Ministry of Budget & National Planning on Monday 14th October, 2024 in Abuja that Nigerians should sustain Tinubu Reforms for 10 years to 15 years to revive the economy.
Such opinion is nothing but lies that is aimed to mislead Nigeria in order for the West to keep developing countries in poverty. Though I blame Nigerian leaders past and present who conspired with them to impoverish Nigerians further.
I don't agree with this. It is a conspiracy aimed at keeping Nigeria perpetually in bondage, in chains and handcuffs.
We were told under Ibrahim Babangida's military dictator administration that if Nigeria devalued her currency, that will end poverty. Since then Nigerian currency is worthless.
Nigeria's problems are visible and we don't need microscopes to see them. There are too many leakages in the public treasury and appointing people without capacity to head government parastatals and ministries/agencies with worthless accumulated certificates and degrees/diplomas won't help the country.
Nigeria needs sincere people. If all the wastages are stopped and credible people are elected and appointed Nigeria will overcome inflation, hardships, poverty.
The public treasury is used by few individuals. There are videos on online of 'side-chics' of political officeholders and their fronts owning mansions worth 4 to 5 billion naira and driving exotic cars. These 'side-chics' seem not to have any honest means of income other than being gifted by corrupt politicians and fronts of politicians in government.
I still recall a video of a young lady showing online content creator that her mansion's front door leading to her main sitting room is worth 300,000 dollars and Bentley chairs of the main sitting room is worth 400 million naira. What a country are we? The problem is not the minimum wage but the corrupt system.
