As a citizen concerned about the issues that affect Delta State’s developmental progress, I feel obligated to draw the attention of Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, to the deplorable and very poor road construction currently ongoing on Orhuwhorun road, Ovwian in Udu LGA of Delta State, which urgently needs to be addressed.
THE URGENT NEED TO CALL TO ORDER THE CONTRACTOR HANDLING THE ORHUWHORUN ROAD OVER THE BAD JOB BEING DONE
As a citizen concerned about the issues that affect Delta State’s developmental progress, I feel obligated to draw the attention of Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, to the deplorable and very poor road construction currently ongoing on Orhuwhorun road, Ovwian in Udu LGA of Delta State, which urgently needs to be addressed.
From what I observed, what the Contractor engaged, whom I was told is John Oguma’s Company, is doing right now is just haphazardly patching the said road with thin asphalt. And with what is being done, I strongly believe the said road will start going bad in less than a month’s time. This to me, and I believe other well-meaning Deltans, is nothing short of a complete waste of the State’s public funds, to have such poorly executed road to take place.
It is in the light of this development, that I call on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to promptly call to order, the said Contractor handling the construction of the Orhuwhorun road. It is either he is directed to start redoing the entire road construction properly this time, or a more competent Contractor should be engaged to replace him and do a better job on the said road. The said road is too important, for it to be poorly done for road users.
Kindly give this subject issue the attention it requires.
