OSUBI AIRSTRIP BUBBLING AGAIN

It’s good to see Osubi Airstrip in Delta state bubbling and full of activities again.

Precisely on December 23, 2025 I was at Osubi to board flight out of Delta. Though my flight and other passengers was delayed, it was not cancelled as before. 

When waiting for flight about 25 flights landed and took of from Osubi. Thank you Minister Festus Keyamo and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the activities I noticed at Osubi Airstrip.

However, Osubi Airstrip Runway still needs to be expanded and upgraded to make it sustainable so it won’t look after the tenure of Minister Keyamo and Governor Oborevwori Osubi Airstrip will return to what it was before now. 

To sustain the activities of Osubi Airstrip the runway should be expanded and upgraded. Osubi Airstrip is very active for now due to the efforts of Gov Oborevwori and Minister Keyamo. 

We condemn and commend when it is necessary no matter who and what is involved. Once again, thank you Gov Oborevwori and Minister Keyamo for making Osubi Airstrip active. 

Inside source told me on December 23, 2025 that over 10 airlines are flying Osubi now. Our suggestion for sustainability of Osubi Airstrip is to expand the runway now.
