THE LOCKDOWN IS FOR THE GOOD OF DELTANS EVEN WITH THE GOVERNMENT'S INADEQUACIES - THE KILLING IS UNCALLED FOR

With the recent killings that are associated with the ongoing lockdown in Delta State, I believe the unfortunate incident is totally uncalled for. We all aware that the Corona virus pandemic is killing people daily, and in order to prevent it from spreading into the State so fast, the lockdown became necessary. So, I see no reason why it should lead to avoidable death of anyone, no matter the reasons or justification.
The lockdown ought to be observed by all in a civil and organized manner, and carried out through an adopted strategy of persuasion, just the way the Abuja lockdown is ongoing right now with maturity that  is being carried out professionally. The essence of the lockdown is defeated if people are being killed by the military officers.
Under no circumstances should an intended lockdown to prevent the spread of a disease, bring about the death of any individual. Even in cases where the military and Security operatives perceive a threat toward achieving the objective of the said lockdown, they should not kill any person. But rather, they should arrest and prosecute such a person only if the order/directive is not obeyed or threatened. The government cannot be trying to prevent deaths with lockdown, and at the same time the military are killing civilians who were rude to them, or did not obey the simple order.
I am totally against any youth who wants to use violence to achieve anything, no matter how noble. But the military should not create more social crises that will claim the lives of the youths in the name of trying to solve the health challenges facing the entire world. The measure taken to prevent the possible spread of the Coronavirus is good, even though the Delta State Government didn't make adequate provisions for those not permitted to go to the markets to sell. Or the fact that local farmers will have rotten foods at the end of the day since no adequate storage system like Silos, used by US/UK and developed countries' farmers, were provided for our local farmers.
However, this is no time to blame anybody. But the fact remains that leaders in this dispensation have failed the people on so many angles. President Muhammadu Buhari for instance, has no reason not to have addressed many problems of the nation's problems since his government came on board, but they have chosen the blame game path. The blame on former leaders will not resolve the poverty and power supply problems in the country.
The poverty rate, and the nation's power supply problem have all gone from bad to worse. Whereas, the one tenure plus, of this federal government, is enough time to fix vital and critical aspects of the economy, and the power supply problem. All of these issues and problems created by the current lockdown, are all as a result of, and caused out of 'BAD LEADERSHIP' of the current administration at all levels of government, including President Buhari. And we expect the Government, including President Buhari, to accept the blame wholeheartedly for their inadequacies.
