Intelligence Report has it that some Individuals are in a conspiracy with Vincent Oyibode Chairman of Udu LGA (with phone number
0803 888 9460) to stir crisis in Iwhrekan Community, Ughelli South LGA of Delta, by hiring the military to invade and forcefully impose and swear in an illegal Executive Committee for Iwhrekan.
Iwhrekan community is not under Udu LGA and not connected to Vincent Oyibode who is from Udu LGA and Chairman of Udu LGA is outside the jurisdiction of Ughelli South LGA. Vincent Oyibode should be invited by the Police and DSS to be interrogated for instigating the military and brought to book accordingly.
The military should be advised to learn from the hard lessons from Okuama and not to be used by any individual or group of persons to meddle and create conflict where there is none.
In the event of crisis, the military has no mandate to invade a community when the Police with primary duty to keep internal security has not invited the army.
If there is communal crisis, any aggrieved party should approach lawfully the law court to seek redress rather than misleading the military and security operatives to cause crises where there is none.
The CP Delta, Area Commander Ughelli, DPO Otu-Jeremi, AIG Zone 5 and DSS Delta State Command should take note.
The Chairman of Iwhrekan Community, Comrade Rufus Onokurhefe who could be contacted on 0703 074 7960 and 08026139177 can be reached to give further information on the situation to prevent bloody crises.
Iwhrekan is a sensitive community and co-host to Utorogu Gas Plant and sole host to Utorogu Gas Plant Phase 2 & Phase 3.
No Community Election has taken place in Iwhrekan Community to produce any winner to be sworn in. Those fabricating crises should be warned to desist from misleading the military to invade a peaceful community where there is no crises of any kind.
The military in Utorogu Gas Plant should be advised to ignore those who want to mislead them to invade a peaceful Iwhrekan community, Ughelli South LGA.
