N20B NGEP PAYMENT TO DELTA GOVT: QUESTIONS OKOWA, EMEFIELE MUST ANSWER
When has Delta State Government become a gas drilling contractor or gas infrastructure contractor to have been paid N20 Billion for an imaginary Nigeria Gas Expansion Program, NGEP by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, under Godwin Emefiele and Okowa?
So Delta State has deviated from its role of governance and become an oil and gas company. Wonders shall not end. Here we hear of all kinds of 'cock and bull' stories.
Delta state is number 14 out of the 15 companies listed by the Senate Committee on Gas to have appeared before it on Thursday, 30th November, 2023.
The Senate must probe the reasons why this money was paid and what it was paid for? The Senate must make the findings on this purported Nigeria Gas Expansion Program, NGEP, of which Delta State Government was listed as a beneficiary gas company.
What were these payments made for and who directed these payments to be made? What role did the beneficiary companies play? What was the criteria for these payments?
Nigerians deserve to know all of this.
