IGBO-MUST-GO CAMPAIGN IN LAGOS, YORUBA LAND MUST STOP FORTHWITH

Sponsors and executors of the hate campaign against Igbos are enemies of Nigeria. How has Igbo tribe been the problem of Nigeria? Is Igbo-must-go campaign in Lagos and the South West the solution to the many problems of Nigeria?

Igbos are legimate Nigerians like any other tribe in Nigeria and this hate campaign must stop. The problem of Nigeria is bad leadership and bad followership. Few elites are causing confusion by brainwashing innocent Nigerians that Igbos are the problem of Nigeria.

Igbos stand out as the most progressives in business in the entire country. Igbos have contributed meaningful and impactfully to the development of this country and it is wrong for hate campaign against the Igbos by any section of the country.

The hate campaign against the Igbos must end. We need one another to build a strong nation of Nigeria. If Nigerians are free to stay and live in foreign countries why can't Igbos stay and do business in any part of this country. Those agitating Igbo-Must-go from Lagos and South West should be arrested and be prosecuted in the law courts for breach of peace and promoting civil war.

President Tinubu shouldn't pretend as if all is well in his home state of Lagos which he governed for 8 years. Yoruba elders and Afenifere should call their youths to order, warn them to desist from this hate campaign against Igbo.

All is not well in Lagos and entire Yoruba land with Igbo people who are mainly business people. We should know that Igbos are not cause of the prevailing mass hunger, hardship, unemployment, etc. Igbos have not ruled Nigeria as President or Vice President since 1999, so why the hatred towards Igbos?

I am urging President Tinubu, Yoruba elders, Afenifere as a Nigerian and Urhobo man from Ughelli South LGA of Delta. I am not Igbo or Yoruba nor Hausa/Fulani. I speak as a Nigerian that, that campaign against Igbo must stop forthwith.

On the other hand, Igbos should also accept and accommodate non Igbos in their communities, same way they are being accepted/accommodated in non-Igbo states. They must conduct selves well. Igbos are being accused of not allowing non-Igbo traders in Onitsha, Aba and other major South East markets.

The population of non-igbo residents in Enugu and other cities in South East states are scanty when compared to Igbos that are living in other states. N'Igbo should also show respect for other tribes and be accommodating in their home states.

It is told how Igbo people had wanted to build Ohaneze house besides the Palace of King of Uvwie Kingdom in Delta. There is need for the Igbos to respect the customs and traditions of non-Igbo tribes in non-Igbo states. A foreigner can't disrespect the British monarch in the United Kingdom.

The Igbos should be very accommodating in their home states to non-Igbo tribe's people while I call on the Yoruba elders, political leaders to warn their youths from molesting Igbo people. We need one another in Nigeria to build a strong and united country.

While I ask Yoruba elders & leaders to educate their youths to stop all anti-Igbo campaigns, I also ask Igbo people to accommodate non-Igbos in Igboland and wherever they dominate. The only visible non-Igbo people you see in the entire Igboland are Hausa people selling suya, sugarcane.

If you don't accommodate other tribe's people how will other tribes accommodate Igbos without grudges? Igbos must change their attitude and stop being boastful wherever they dominate. They need to show respect to other tribe's people. Igbo must change attitude and embrace other tribes with open hands and heart.

They should accommodate other tribes. Why is it that you can't see other tribes' people in Onitsha Market, Aba Market, or in Enugu which is the largest Igbo city. Even in popular Alaba international Market in Lagos where Igbos dominate, you can't see other tribes. In Igbo Market in Warri, there is no other tribe's people among them.

The Igbo should learn to live with other tribes in Nigeria.  Where you see only Igbo in a particular state and you can't find other tribes' people, it shows Igbos are not accommodating and receptive. All this must change for a better united Nigeria.

I am not against Igbos for promoting their culture and language. All I am saying is that they too must accommodate other tribes, do to others what they want others to do for them.
