IBORI, NOBODY IS TRYING TO DISGRACE YOU, YOU ARE DISGRACE PERSONIFIED

I listened and read the reports quoting Thief James Onanefe Ibori complaining about perceived enemies trying to disgrace him as he shamelessly struggles to promote his political stooge, Chief Ighoyota Amori, on another senatorial bid. And my first response was, what an irony, what pretence.

According to the former governor, “I am behind and I will support Senator Ighoyota Amori every step on the way, and anybody, anyone conspiring, anybody that thinks that because I am now a former governor they want to conspire to disgrace me, God will disgrace all of them.

“This is my senatorial district, I am a stakeholder in this party (PDP) and I am a stakeholder in Urhobo, this is my place of birth, I am with Senator Amori all the way."

Let me say, first, that Amori is not a senator. That is fallacious. Amori stole a senatorial mandate which was rightly taken from him. He never won a senatorial election and it is unlawful to call him a senator. We have repeatedly asked relevant security agencies, police particularly, to arrest and try Amori for false identity, false claim as a senator.

Back to the real Ibori crying over an alleged attempt to disgrace him, that is another demonstration of self-mockery which he has been indulging in since returning from a UK jail for pillaging Delta state treasury blind. What more disgrace can be more than the disgrace Ibori inflicted on self.

Ibori cannot be talking of people trying to disgrace him. He is a disgrace personified. He, disgrace himself. That is why I will never stop telling him to keep silent and keep a low profile in politics. He should be quiet in his country home and enjoy his loot from the state.

And why should anyone even give listening ears to Ibori on promoting Amori for elective office? Ibori's rule brought shame to Urhobo due to his political rascality and thievery. Agreed, he was an ex-governor who tricked his way to Delta state's number one office in 1999 to loot  Delta state's treasury.

Amori, on the other hand, was sacked and disgraced by the appeal court of Benin for stealing the mandate of Omo-Agege. Why should anyone support two thieves who have brought shame to Urhobo land? Are we that ignorant and gullible in Delta Central, that we only support only the depraved among us to take political leadership?

I have repeatedly advised Ibori to keep silent, stay in the background to enjoy his loot and allow Deltans to elect their leaders at all levels. More painfully, Delta elites are more ignorant than the ordinary masses. How can inform Deltans, including professors/lecturers, lawyers, medical doctors, accountants, business administrators/technocrats, economists, journalists, bankers, surveyors, architects, engineers, pharmacists, retired military officers cheer thieving, timid public officeholders for looting the commonwealth? It is a pity.
