TO JUDGE FRANK CAPRIO, A BLESSING TO THE WORLD

Frank Caprio, former chief judge of the municipal court of Providence city in Rhode Island state of US was rated by the public as the kindest and nicest judge in the world who had used his court judgments to teach humanity and touched lives of people who were taken to his courtroom for trial until he retired in 2023 and died in 20th August, 2025.
His court judgments were life lessons. People usually gathered in his courtroom to hear his judgments. His courtroom became a tourist centre and attracted many tourists to US who visited Providence in Rhode Island state in his time as a judge. Unlike in other judges especially in Nigeria and Africa to twist judgments for interest to cause harm in society and using judgments to create more problems that there were not existence before.
According to melrobins.com, "Judge Caprio was more than America's most beloved judge. He was a father,husband,and global example of what it looked like to lead with compassion. His courtroom videos have been viewed more than 10 billion times,and his kindness made him a viral sensation".
As written by oncodaily.com, "Judge Frank Caprio was the chief judge of the Providence Municipal Court for 38years. He earned the title 'World's nicest judge' for his compassionate and empathetic approach in the courtroom,often showing leniency and kindness based on the truth toward defendants,which won him Worldwide admiration."
I am one of Judge Frank Caprio's fans and I had planned that whenever I am on short vacation to US in 2025 or 2026, I would visit Providence City to see Judge Caprio but unfortunately he died 20th August, 2025 at age of 88 years.
Billions of online comments had poured in since 20th August,2025 when Judge Caprio passed. I read so much about Caprio's deeds on earth and his court judgments were not oppressive as we see in Nigeria and Africa.
There are alot to learn from Caprio's books and videos from any person in authority. Only the truth shall set you free.
Few days ago we wrote about "the need for Olu and Itsekiri elders to call their youths to order to maintain peace in Warri City. And precisely on August 27, 2025 we wrote another write up titled" Gov Oborevwori: How Not to Play Politics With Ethnic Tension" ,and since then some persons who are ignorant of the situation on ground in Warri City inclusive of Gov Oborevwori's aides began to attack me and called me all sorts of names due to their ignorance or they pretend because of 'bread and butter'or thinking such attack on me we earn them favour from Gov Oborevwori.
Judge Frank Caprio on Why Artificial Intelligence(AI) Should Never Replace Judges. According to Caprio in online video,
"Recently I received a correspondence from some university students asking my opinion on the use of Artificial Intelligence on the Judicial System.
What this means is having a robot to replace a judge.
My answer is a resounding no. The purpose of a judicial system is to give justice. What is justice??
Justice is giving someone what they deserve. How can you determine that unless you know their personal circumstances?
How can you determine that unless you know their personal circumstances?
How do you know if your decision will not impact their lives in such an adverse way in such a way that their children will not impact their lives in such an adverse way in such a way that their children will not have food on the table this night. Or some other circumstances may affect them. Make a determination based on compassion and understanding and empathy?
How can a robot make a determination of this person’s circumstances by looking into their eyes and seeing their hurt and maybe despair?
You cannot program a robot to make those decisions. According to Wikipedia, "Following Caprio's retirement, the Providence City Council passed legislation to rename his former Municipal courtroom, 'The Chief Judge Frank Caprio Courtroom'.
Judge Caprio's life and times is a life worth emulating. Judge Frank Caprio will remain in hearts of people accross the globe forever. Caprio was an intellectual lawyer, judge and class of his own. One may be graduate of law, medicine, engineering, architecture,information technology, communication,literature, political science,history,sociology,education, agriculture, business, economics,banking, accountancy, etc and still lack intellectual capacity and capability.
Frank Caprio was a blessing to US and the world.
