COLLAPSED ASABA STADIUM GATE: HAVEN'T I BEEN VINDICATED?

Collapsed Asaba stadium gate

Few days ago, I was addressing the pettiness of one nonentity, by the name Sam Sakpra, who believes the only way he can earn a living, is by insulting anyone who questions the thieving leadership of his paymaster, former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

One of the things I mentioned that gave the petty Sakpra the audacity to open his foul mouth against me was how Governor Sheriff Oborevwori seems to be copying his remote controller, Okowa's attitude of using the shoddy Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, to steal Delta State's commonwealth in the guise of hosting national or international sports events.

And I did raise the concern that everytime the Delta State Government begged sports events organisers to use the shoddy stadium to host events, one part of the stadium always collapse and threatened lives during whatever games being held.

A couple of days later, news broke out that a gate has collapsed on athletes at the ongoing Youth Games holding at the stadium. Haven't I been vindicated? The stadium, for Okowa, now copied by his third term placeholder, Oborevwori, the fake stadium has become an easy conduit for stealing Delta's money at the risk to the lives of innocent sportsmen and fans that could get caught in the collapsing stadium.

Have I not been vindicated when I wrote that Delta hosting of game festivals was a clever ploy by Okowa to steal more money from much drained Delta State's treasury through his younger brother, Tonoboks Ojulu Okowa.

And one nonentity Sam Sakpra who is carried away with a useless Special Assistant job that doesn't have a defined role was running his mouth to defend his thief master Okowa and co, all in an attempt to get similar busybody attention from Sheriff.

An Asaba based opinion leader's feedback on my earlier post was, "The Youths Sports Festivals have started. And they are using government schools as hostels to house the athletes. From today 21st September 2023- October 6th, our (Asaba) schools have been shut down because of these sports festivals.

"Schools like Government Primary School, Junior Staff Quarters, Government Mixed Secondary School, Westend, etc. are shut down for this purpose." Is it worth it, begging to host sports events in a shaky, substandard stadium? Is it by force to host sports events?

The story of the collapsed gate that fell on a female athlete is all over the place. In Delta, anything can happen. Our people only look at the federal government, and turn a blind eye to the stealing that is taking place in the state.

Nothing to justify the highest federal allocations that come to the state every month. It is only empty promises. I'm vindicated that every time, we hear of collapsed parts of the Asaba stadium. How long the politicians of Delta will continue on this path of unrestrained stealing to fund election cases and alleged bribing of judges.

Must Delta live with this wickedness of Okowa and his stooge Delta governor? He doesn't care one bit, and won't call himself to order.
