BOLAJI OGUNSEYE GONE, A TOUCHING ONE
It's such touching episode, just hearing the news of the passing of Bolaji Ogunseye from an online post sent by Emeka Obi now enjoying retirement at his Hemel Hempstead, UK home.
Bolaji left the United Nations job for Shell. A brilliant Shell manager with outstanding social performance skills and talents.
I recall working closely with him as SCD Communication consultant with Shell Corporate SCD leaders including Emmanuel Etomi, Noble Pepple, Olukayode 'Sbaba' Soremekun, Emeka Obi, Bolaji Ogunseye and C.O.P. Nwachukwu as Director/VP, which for me is the best Shell Nigeria Corporate SCD team ever.
I still remember the SHELL 19 BIG RULES on Social Performance that we all worked hard to deliver then.
The last time I heard of Bolaji was when I met 'SBaba’ at the Lagos Airport, MM1 when he shared his phone number and we spoke as I was on my way to Warri.
I promised to see him when I am in Lagos. His voice sounded good on phone. Few weeks ago, we lost Harriman Oyofo of Shell External Corporate Major Projects.
Today is Bolaji Ogunseye. Such is the unpredictable life. May his soul rest in peace, God comforting his family to bear his irreparable loss.
