As the Christmas and End-of-Year celebrations get ever closer, it is easy for people, particularly Deltans to get carried away in the fleeting rave of excitement of the moment as to forget the more pressing concerns of the imperative need to get it right politically in 2023.

DC-23 is simply the case of Jacob's voice and Esau's hand, representing Ibori and Amori respectively.
These two cannot do without political power because they are bent on sustaining the lavish lifestyles their corrupt reign afforded them while in power.
It is highly probable that David Edevbie is the chosen imposter for this deadly mission.

This is even more so because of the avowed commitments of some power-drunk desperados to seize power by all means in order to continue their corrupt and looting spree that has chained Delta State, and denied the people opportunities for the good life since 1999.
Truth be told, Deltans appear to me to be very poor revisionists and easily forgetful of history. Otherwise, the names mentioned above would have been too scared or ashamed to join issues in matters concerning Delta State, not to talk of coming out boldly to "screen" and "decide" for the Urhobo the candidate to present for the PDP in the 2023 Governorship race.

Unfortunately, these two personalities bear a huge moral deficit on their shoulders that has continued to haunt them since their misrule of 1999-2007. This same moral ghost has discredited any merit the DC-23 purports to have.
The matter is very easy to understand. These two desperados cannot do without political power because they cannot sustain the lavish lifestyles that their corrupt reign in power afforded them between 1999-2007. They are therefore desperate to return or stay very close to power.
Amori's initial strategy was to get a senate position. He almost succeeded. He rigged his way to power for six months and took prostitutes to the United States of America to celebrate what he thought was a smart victory. He was brought to justice by the courts and had to pay back every dime he had been wrongfully paid as senator.
Ibori himself stole so much to sustain him in seven life cycles. He dazed people in the UK and Dubai with his stolen wealth in pounds and dollars with which he bought state of the art properties and exquisite cars. His estimated loot of 40 billion naira was very conservative. Like his accomplice Amori, he was brought to justice by the courts and served a jail term, thereby deservedly earning the title of "ex-convict".
But desperate to get back to power and access to the commonwealth of Delta State, they have now devised a scheme through which they plan to plant a surrogate and imposter in the government house. Their goal is to revive their looting spree of the State's resources.
It is highly probable that David Edevbie is the chosen imposter for this deadly mission. He himself has been a member of the gang since 1999; a very loyal errand boy in their estimation. They hope to use him to achieve their goal.
Deltans must arise and resist these men for good. There is no way a single cult of looters and scavengers can have their way over the collective will of over 7 million people. Deltans must now ensure that this ghost of Moral Deficiency which is haunting these men and their DC-23 Project condemn them finally to the cesspit of irrelevance in 2023 and beyond.
