ADIOTOMRE @ 85: HIS UNFORGIVABLE SIN

Chief Michael Adiotomre just turned 85. Thank God for the blessings of sound health and old age upon him.

Interestingly in the highlight of the celebrant's profile by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other well-wishers in goodwill messages to felicitate with him on this birthday, Adiotomre's role as Deputy General Manager Administration, Delta Steel Company (DSC) Ovwian-Aladja in 1984 ranks among his most outstanding accomplishments.

Deliberately so, the Governor and other well-wishers wouldn't mention how sadistically the benefactor, Senator Fred Brume, who made Adiotomre big at DSC was stabbed at the back by Adiotomre and cohorts.

Fred Brume, now in his grave, his ghost will continue to haunt Adiotomre in life. Chief Adiotomre isn't worth any bloated honor in Urhobo land.

He conspired against Sen. Brume; pioneer General Manager/Chief Executive Officer at DSC in 1984, leading the coup to persecute Brume who selfless revived Adiotomre out of poverty at the time.

Brume employed Michael Adiotomre, Ogigirigi, Olomokoro, Chief Andrew Desi and quite a number of Urhobo sons and daughters in DSC and some of them ganged up against him without justification, writing frivolous petitions that led to his unlawful detention by Gen Buhari, then military dictator.

Till Brume passed on, nothing was found incriminating against him. Adiotomre was made Deputy General Manager Administration in DSC by our Senator Fred Brume.

Adiotomre, driven by extreme greed, is a very destructive person not worth all the encomiums. He is a disgrace to Urhobo nation. After Brume was arrested, unlawfully detained without any criminal charge against him, what happened to once booming DSC!? It collapsed till date.

Many families lost their jobs and incomes. Staff died why waiting for salaries and pension. Is that the kind of man Gov. Sheriff Oberovwori should praise singing in public from an entrusted public office? A man who brought hardship and closure of DSC with his cronies is not worth glorifying.

I dare Michael Adiotomre and his cronies who are still alive to challenge me. He thought removing Brume would make him Lord over DSC, a futile evil dream Urhobo nation has yet to recover from its consequences.
