The resentful allegations linking Nigeria's super cop, DCP Abba Kyari's to adding and abbeting the shady deals US detained Nigerian fraudster, Hushpuppi, is another exposure of the shame of a country that prides self as Giant of Africa.

The US allegations are so weighty, resentful.
His lame excuses before trial are so disappointing.
The resentful allegations linking Nigeria's super cop, DCP Abba Kyari's to adding and abbeting the shady deals US detained Nigerian fraudster, Hushpuppi, is another exposure of the shame of a country that prides self as Giant of Africa.
The development, said to have provoked a US court order for Kyari's arrest, if proven, is so disgraceful and embarrassing, not to the federal government of Nigeria and its police force, but indeed a disgrace to black Africa given Nigeria's pride of place in the continent.
Even with the Nigeria Police not insulated from the systemic corruption in the Nigerian state to the anger of the world, men and officers of the Nigeria Police have ironically continued to earn respect of the international community when put to the test on international assignments overseas.
Now, for DCP Kyari, a supposed shining reference for attaching some measure of integrity to the Nigerian Police to be linked to sharing from the loots of a high profile fraudster, it is as much a big dent on the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration anti-graft crusade.
It means Kyari's as a star crime cracker has all along been doubtful and deceitful. Even more resentful is his indefensibly lame excuses in shameless attempt to deny sharing from Hushpuppi's scams induced wealth.
Typical of the Nigeria situation, it is on this basis the US indictment that Nigeria relevant authorities are beginning to dig into the fallen super cop's suspected ill-gotten wealth in form of ownership of properties ascribed for the super rich.
Like most Nigerians, I personally have a lot of respect for the super police officer. These allegations, if proven, will be so disappointing.
